The Opportunity 

Christchurch is a coastal town known for its relaxed lifestyle, green spaces, outdoor activities, good amenities, schools, and transport links. Its heritage, nature, and slower pace attract families, retirees, and those seeking seaside living with everyday convenience, plus easy access to beaches, Bournemouth, and the New Forest.

Located in central Christchurch, Ye Olde George Inn (YOGI) is the town’s oldest pub, offering a welcoming atmosphere and over 600 years of history. YOGI serves modern classics and pizzas, features two bars and a large courtyard, and hosts private events in the Barn. With Sky Sports, a pool table, and darts, it’s a social hub on Castle Street, easily accessible to locals and visitors.

About You 

We’re looking for an experienced operator who thrives on building strong ties with the local community, enjoys hosting guests, and loves creating memorable experiences. The ideal candidate is passionate about customer service, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is excited about bringing a local pub to life. You will be responsible for developing and leading a reliable, motivated team, driving sales and profitability, and constantly seeking new ideas to wow our guests. A successful candidate will be digitally savvy, entrepreneurial, and always looking for innovative ways to enhance the guest experience.
